Looking Good Doesn’t Have to Cost a Lot
I’m all about the bargain. I like nice clothes and good shoes and I only carry Coach bags, but I loathe spending a lot of money for the things I want. I am very good waiting until I find just the right price.
Case in point: my daughter went to school yesterday looking very nice. She felt good. She liked the outfit, and she got tons of compliments. When it came down to it, the outfit cost me $2. I got the sweater off the $1 rack at a consignment store, the brand new Stride Shoes for $1 at a local Hospice Thrift Store and the cute little black sweater skirt was a gift from my grandmother (my daughter’s great-grandmother, which made it all the more special). I totally wan to put in a picture, but my little SmartMedia drive is not working all of the sudden.
Even my dreams are about finding bargains! Last night I was dreaming that I was at a TJ Maxx or Ross, or some similar store and I was finding Coach bags for $10 and little Christian Dior coin purses for $6. What a nice dream! ![]()
