One Clear Dot

I’m putting together a small parenting blog and I wanted a quick and easy way to generate a basic Wordpress theme using my colors and header. I found a site that has a very easy to use free Wordpress Theme Generator and I had a lot of fun fiddling around with the parameters.

Now, what has struck me is that although I am very well versed in the details of designing a regular website, I am almost helpless when it comes to designing a Wordpress theme. I have half a mind to set aside some time to learn, but then the other half of my mind reminds me that I still have Christmas gifts to mail and the new video camera I ordered is sitting unopened on the dining room table. I have no time to set aside. So, thank goodness for that free generator. It saved me lots of time today.
