One Clear Dot

We all know that campaigning for his wife must require long hours, but it astounds me that Bill Clinton could not keep his eyes open long enough to show respect during an event to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. yesterday. Even my four-year-old knows how to keep herself awake in public, and she is not on television.

Clinton was given an important set right behind the speaker and had to understand that all eyes were on him. Even if he argues that he is not actually asleep, but merely listening with his eyes closed, one would think he understand how rude it appears to sit and listen to a speaker with your eyes closed and your chin constantly dropped to your chest.

The eyes of the world are on the Clintons. Bill Clinton is still seen as a lout by many Americans and as he campaigns for his wife, he surely looks around and understand s how many people are truly not happy with Hillary’s stance on so many issues. This is a crucial time for their public personas and sleeping during a tribute to MLK is just, well…asinine.

Can we assume, then, that Bill Clinton is just too wrought with his own personal demonds to be able to sleep at night?
