Healthy Body, Healthy Skin

One of the things that changed about my body when I got older is that my skin started breaking out every so often. As a teenager, I had flawless, enviable skin. Seriously, aside from the occasion spot of Clearasil, I had to do very little to keep my face looking clear and pretty.

I wish that were still the case. Like many women in their 30s, I have some adult acne. I use a few topical products on it as needed, but I wanted to discuss the biggest thing I did to help clear up my acne. I started a colon cleanse routine. I did some reading and came to the conclusion that internal health is the biggest indicator in my skin issues. My body reacts to stress and diet via my skin these days, so if I keep my internal system healthy and make sure my digestive health is in top shape, I see a correlation in the way my skin looks.

When you start researching colon cleanings, you will see that there are a lot of products on the market. Some are stronger than others and some are safer than their competition. One of the products that has routinely been touted in health journals is Oxy-Powder®, a natural oxygen colon cleanser. Combined with a healthy diet high is fruit and vegetable consumption, products like this can aid your body in staying vigorous and regular.

  1. I used to think that colon cleansers are nothing but scams, and always listened to my doctors who would write me a prescription for laxatives or stool softeners.

Finally, my current gastroentrologist told me that many of those same laxatives have the same questionable ingredients & herbs that colon cleansers have. He recommended OxyPowder to me, because it doesn’t contain any questionable herbs.

I tried it, and I can’t complain at all. It really does help with my constipation..
