Why You Should Not Order Pizza Hut Pizza Mia
Its Super Bowl day and a lot of people are ordering pizza for delivery, as well you should. It is the perfect complement to an exciting football game. But, if you have been tempted to try out Pizza Hut’s Pizza Mia deal – DON’T. They are absolutely horrible and not worth the $5 you will pay for each medium pizza.
Why, then, do I say you should not order the pizza Hut Pizza Mia product?
1. The sauce is overly sweet and relies heavily of a thickening agent, like corn starch, to make it go further. It is goopy and almost completely bankrupt of the fresh tomato taste the television commercials promise. If you want sauce with evident tomato, choose another Pizza Hut product or another pizza delivery service altogether.
2. The crust is not the same dough you will be used to if you know and love either of Pizza Hut’s popular crusts: the hand tossed and the pan. This Pizza Mia crust is dry and oddly flavored. It seems okay when very hot, but once your pizza begins to cool, it becomes super tough and strangely reminiscent of cardboard.
3. The cheese tastes fine, even though Pizza Hut admits it is not their typical cheese and is mixed with Cheddar cheese. The main problem is that in order to make this budget pizza fall into a price point that still garners a profit. Pizza Hut uses VERY LITTLE cheese on the Pizza Mia product. In fact, it’s more of a hint of cheese.
4. The topping quality is fine, but surprisingly spare.
All in all, you must keep in mind that the Pizza Mia is the restaurant’s budget pizza and they use budget ingredients. If you are looking to feed a lot of people and stretch your dollar, simply go to the supermarket and load up on Tombstone Pizzas, especially then they are on sale for about $2.50 a pie. Tombstone is superior is quality and size, and they cost less.
Avoid the Pizza Hut Pizza Mia product. Some say you get what you pay for, but in this case you are simply paying for crap.

I agree, these pizzas are very bad. We expected a regular Pizza Hut pizza and we ended up with this cheap, terrible tasting worst pizza we’ve ever had.

OH these pizzas are horrible we ordered pizza hut- my fav ever- and the guy was like oh u can get three medsium pizzas for 5 bucks each and my moms like NICE PRICE and got them cuz knowing how much i like pizza hut i said id eat them
when i got THESE i was like oh no moms bf is gonna be ticked these are gross im not gonna be able to eat them ,.. i keep tellin mym om its different but she cant tell. shes obviously not a pizza hut fan like me. i hope its okay reheated
the pizza mia is a handtossed crust.Everything in the country has prices going up and Pizza Hut comes out with a valuable product for a large family and you people still bitch.You are probablt the same ones that drive suv’s and bitch about gas prices

I drive a very fuel friendly car, thank you very much. However, while I might love a good bargain I still like edible food.
My purpose in writing this review is to let people know that The Pizza Hut Pizza Mia product is absolutely not worth even the $5 per.
And, according to the people I called at Pizza Hut, the crust used for the Pizza Mia is unique to the product. So, while it may be “a” hand tossed crust, it is certainly not the hand tossed crust on their regular menu.
Seriously, people, if you want to spend $5 on a pizza, just buy Tombstone. At least you will be getting something edible.
I’m ordering pizza at this moment. But wait…I have 3 boxes of pizza mia in my freezer from last week untouched!

Even if i did have a big family I would not feed them that pizza mia junk. Pizza Mia is gehtto pizza for people who dont care about the qulaity of thier food!

I agree! Never, ever, ever order a Pizza Mia. I had the unfortunate experience last night and I’m still angry about it. I had to google it to see if it was just me or if that pizza was total puke. The pizzas were awful tasting, and awful in texture. The crust wasn’t cooked all the way through, and the pizza had a sweet, rotten taste to it, like something fermenting, something not right. The pizza also burned our mouths, not with heat, but some weird, sweet, acidity and overall the pizzas (all 3 of them) were inedible. Eating just one piece of the pizza mia killed our appetites, and killed any desire to eat pizza ever again. It left such a bad taste in my mouth, and such terrible gastric distress this morning that I cared enough to share this bad experience. If you want to permanently destroy any cravings for pizza, then have a slice of the worst pizza ever, Pizza Hut’s Pizza Mia.

We love Pizza mia than any othetr Pizza …its very cheap and
pepporoni pizza is just awesome for its price . we order about six medium for 31 bucks and finish them in less than 2 hrs watching movies on friday night . We are 5 people .
