Mourning Fannie May’s Mint Puffs
I all but grew up on Fannie May candy. I joke sometimes that their candy is why I grew so tall. We lived close to one of their outlet stores when I was growing up in the suburbs of Washington, DC and Fannie May was indeed a family favorite.
We were all particular in love with their Mint Puff. *sigh* Just thinking about them makes me happy. The thing is, I am pretty sure they are not making them anymore. I keep meaning to e-mail them, because I cannot find them on their website.
It is with much glee, though, that I am able to say they are still making Pixies®, Mint Meltaways, and Trinidads®. Their quality is pure and superior to nearly any other American chocolate I have tasted.
A couple years ago when I visited a friend up in New Jersey, we passed a Fannie May and I stopped to buy a box of chocolates for my mom. I don’t live near one of their stores now, but there is absolutely no need for tears. You can get everything you want on their website!
