When Companies Drop the Ball

Unfortunately, I probably have no recourse. I pay one company to be the administrator of my various health plans: health, vision, dental. They, in turn, make sure my coverage is up to date with the three separate companies.

I do not doubt my administrator is doing its job, because two out of three of the companies I have insurance with cause me no problem. However, my dental company still insists I have not had coverage since December 31, 2007. I’ve paid my bills and called my administrator several times. They say they send faxes updating my info,…and yet I may still need to cancel an appointment I have at my dentist Wednesday, because rthis issue is as of yet unresolved.

How does the world even function when most of us end up on the phone all day?
