Getting Ready for Florida Swim Season
Believe it or not, we are coming up on swimming season here in Florida. I was at Target this morning to pick up some travel cups for my daughter and I saw that the swimwear display has been moved to the front of the store and it is bigger than ever. Yes, the beaches are warming up and pretty soon most of us will be hitting the water as often as possible.
Now, until I get on the move and lose my extra weight, I like a bathing suit with a little extra room. The main obstacle is that most department stores sell plus sized swimwear that looks like it should be worn by someone over the age of 70. The suits are full of little skirts and gaudy patterns. I just want a normal, cute swim suit – only a little more tailored to a fuller figure. Is that asking too much?
The biggerbras.com website has cute suits and they sell their tops and bottoms separately (halleluiah!), so you can get the right fit if you need a full busted bra in a DD or E, for example. More retails stores should follow their lead.
