I love that legwarmers and funky tights are back in style. I especially love Capri tights with a little lace on the edges. I wore them all of the time in the 80s and early 90s. And now, I see all sort of leggy fashion coming back – the funkier, the better.

Of course, I have little need for functional tights here in Florida. I miss nice, thick tights in the winter, but it’s just not cold enough here. Nonetheless, Capri Tights are still perfectly cool here and legwarmers come in pretty handy when you are headed into a chilly dance studio (even though I cannot keep the Flashdance theme song from going through my mind the entire time!).

This is all coming to mind, because I was just at the store picking up some tights for my daughter to wear for her dance class and I saw all the stripey tights and cool fuzzy socks. I even saw some of the socks with individual toes like I wore back in the 70s.
