One Clear Dot

After Health Ledger’s death last month, there was a lot of speculation about what was to come of the film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Ledger was one of the film’s main stars and had only finished the London portion of filming when he passed away.

It turns out the show will go on, but it will take three major actors to finish the role: Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell. They will each play different versions of Ledger’s character, Tony, with Ledger’s existing footage likely to remain intact as well.

This Terry Gilliam film might end up being one of the biggest blockbusters ever with a roster like that. You know, I feel like Ledger deserves this kind of legacy. Sure, he was just a guy who acted, but he had a talent that most people agree surpassed the norm. He was endlessly liable and easy to watch in nearly any role.
