My Little Ballerina Girl
When I look at parents who have their kids in ballet, soccer, piano lessons, and various other activities, the first thing I wonder is how in the world they are affording it all. Holy cow. It’s not inexpensive to have your children enrolled in extracurricular activities and lessons.
I had my daughter in swim lessons over the summer, but that ended back November. She has been begging me to enroll her in ballet and I have been calling all over the area looking for a studio that I can both afford and respect. It’s been a tough game. I have the selection narrowed down to a couple of places other mothers have told me about lately.
In the meantime, I am piecing together a dance wardrobe for the little Princess. She has a number of pairs of tap and ballet shoes and some appropriate clothing, but there is always need for more. While the local department stores have a poor selection and the local boutiques are often too expensive, websites like JustForKix.com have dance wear that is both affordable and varied. It’s really the best option for a budget minded mom like me.
