Booking a Flight? Shop Around.
I am a huge proponent of checking out the popular travel sites before I book a flight. The problem I have is that if I look on Expedia and Travelocity, for example, I often find slightly different prices on the same or similar flights. Since all I am really interested in is finding low fares, I end up bopping around to travel site after travel site, trying to track down the best price.
I’m loving Lowfares.com. When I do a search using their engines, I get my results and I can choose to compare across as many major travel portals sites as I want, like Priceline and Hotwire – all of the major travel portals, actually. It saves me a LOT of time in the end and I can absolutely make sure I have the cheapest price on the flight I want. I’m not going from site to site or trying to juggle ten open browser windows while I look for my flight. You would be amazed at how vastly different some of the price quotes come back.
Lowfares.com is not a travel agency. They just partner with the travel sites and give you an easy way to shop around. And, it’s not just for flights. You can compare hotels, car rentals, vacation packages and current hot deals.
