Buying Leads Eases the Load
I have a good friend who just bought into a travel business. I’m not a salesperson by nature, but she could sell ice cubes to an Eskimo, so this is absolutely the career for her. Apparently, once you buy into the company, you need to sell the services to another 4 or 6 people in order to not incur monthly fees.
So, she is looking into buying sales leads. There are various companies that sell qualified leads to any number of industries. Lead Dogs is one. They specialize in B2B leads, though if you look around you can find businesses that focus on almost any arena. Just make sure you find out how hot the leads are before you buy them. You don’t want to spend money on a bunch of information for non-existent people and businesses. A company, like Lead Dogs, that has a great reputation, is the best place to start looking.
Best of luck to my friend. She was looking long and hard for a job she could work from home. Her husband is an ER nurse and he is away from home often. They have two kids and one on the way. This travel thing looks like a great deal for her if she can launch it off the ground quickly.
