We are in an era where education is no longer something that has to be constrained to a classroom. In fact, you can broaden the reach of your classroom to include remote locations and without ever leaving your desk. You can have guest speakers that don’t actually have to travel to get to you. You can video conference with other groups, explore a museum in another country, examine works of art in such up-close detail that it will feel like you are face-to-face with the painting.

All of this is because companies like LifeSize have fine-tuned high definition video communications to a level that surpasses anything you can imagine. Just take a look at their site for more video conferencing information and how it could enable you to play with musicians in other parts of the world just as though they were in the room with you, or even attend classes in Europe. The possibilities are endless and I just keep thinking about how this will benefit people in the business sector a lot, those of us in education will be absolutely soaring.
