How Clean Is Your Hotel Room?
When we stayed at one of the Disney hotels last weekend, I had no doubt that the housekeeping staff did a good enough job. The bathroom was cleaner than most hotel bathrooms. Still, I took precautions and removed the bedspread from the bed before we slept. We covered ourselves with the hotel sheets and a blanket I had brought from home.
I guess I have just seen too many CSI shows lately and it is always in the back of my mind that hotel rooms are full of nasty body fluids.
It has never crossed my mind, though, that I might check into a hotel and come in contact with a deadly poison. It turns out a man is in a coma out in Las Vegas after he was exposed to ricin in the hotel room where he was staying.
It seems with every passing day I am happier and happier to just stay home with my family and play board games.
