Second Florida Strawberry Festival Cancellation
The Florida Strawberry Festival is a big deal to a lot of people in this part of state. In fact, there was a time that some schools even got a scheduled day off to attend the event. The festival tends to draw high profile country music acts year after year.
This year, though, there have already been two headline cancellations. Last week Glen Campbell cancelled due to an illness. His performance was scheduled for tomorrow. He will be replaced by Ronnie Milsap.
Today, Travis Tritt canceled his show. His show was actually scheduled for this evening at 7:30. He also cancelled due to an illness. Tritt will be replaced by Marty Stuart and Connie Smith.
Apparently both performers have the flu. I can attest that the particular strain going around these past couple of weeks is particularly bad. I am just getting over my own flu bug and can still hardly move some of my muscles.
