What? MORE Democratic Primaries?
Today is yet another day for presidential primaries, for both the Democrats and the Republicans. While the Republican contest still seems interesting and logical I have to say that I am sick to death of hearing about Clinton vs. Obama.
I was just at my eye doctor’s office this morning so she could do a follow up check on my new contact lenses. She said to me, “So, today is a big day for the Democrats, huh?”
At first, I blanked. Then, I realized it was another primary day. I’m just so overwhelmingly bored with the news now, though, that I have all but blocked it out of all useful parts of my brain. The media has diluted the story about Clinton vs. Obama so much that I almost loathe both of the Democratic candidates.
Enough already. It is painfully obvious that the Democratic Party is deeply split, reflecting the dichotomous nature of the party. At least the Republicans seem to be getting it together when it comes to the unification of the party.
Please, God, give me a good Reform Party Candidate one day. That’s all I ask.
