When a Church Cannot Survive
A church that cannot survive when its pastor leaves or a pastoral couple gets divorced (which should NOT be happening), then you have to wonder if the church was ever stronger than the cult of personality that was powering it.
Tampa’s massive Without Walls International Church is up for sale for $30 million. And it seems that the Board and the congregation were not in on the decision. The church is currently one of several U.S. ministries facing national scrutiny for possible abuse of its tax-exempt status. Though most of the other ministries who were asked to provide paperwork to prove their innocence, Without Walls did not comply.
There were reports of those in the ministry making 7-figure salaries, the purchase of a Bentley for TD Jakes (Paula White’s “spiritual Daddy”), private jets, prosperity philosophies while many of their inner-city congregants gave and gave while living in poverty.
The decline of this particular church began as the pastor Randy White and his wife, both high profile and super wealthy, announced they were divorcing. Suddenly, tidbits about past marriages and relationships came to light. Speculation ran rampant about what
Paula White was doing by spending so much time in New York and in Texas, where she is now in a partnership with the The Epicenter – A Place for Life ministry.

I believe the mysteries surrounding Randy and Paula White are going to be “without walls” real soon.
What would be the need to sell the properties if they are innocent in handling their finances? Why would Paula move out of Tampa all together if the management of ministry finances is above reproach?
HMMMM….the truth shall be revealed real soon, but for those who may be devastated by the heartbreak, those are the ones who are going to need to be guided and led back to the truth, with an immense amount of love and grace from God.
