I’m a comparison shopper by nature. I used to keep a little notebook in my purse to keep track of prices of the different items I bought on a regular basis, and how their prices varied from store to store. I have always put effort into my big ticket purchases, by calling around or spending days shopping in different stores for the best price. I will wait things out for a good sale, too.

The internet has made my comparison shopping habit so much easier. Not only can I bounce from site to site looking for the best price, I can use comprehensive sites like Shogging.com to compare prices online all from one starting point. It makes my quests just that much easier, plus Shogging goes another step by inviting users to submit product reviews. I cannot tell you how often another person’s real review of a product has saved me from making disastrous purchases!
