Fighting Cholesterol, Naturally
I have high cholesterol. Part of it is due to my weight gain after the birth of my daughter, but the rest of it is hereditary. I have a whole band of great-aunts who are both thin and sufferers of high cholesterol.
I know I need to get my cholesterol in line, but I am reluctant to take a prescription medication to do it. I want to find the path to lower cholesterol through diet and other natural approaches. I have used both green tea and garlic in the part to help get my cholesterol down, but there are various other natural substances that will also do the trick. Products like Vasacor utilize many of them, including plant phytosterol esters, Omega-3 fish oils, niacin, and policosanol.
It is always worth it to try a natural way to lower your cholesterol, because the prescription medications are infamous for being hard on your organs and I have no desire to introduce new health risks into my life while I am trying to get rid of another health risk.
