One Clear Dot

I do not do a whole lot of freelance design work lately. I have stopped actively soliciting business and my old clients are not doing as much printing and business development as they used to. One of these days, I may decide to take the time to build my business back up to a level I used to maintain, but for now I am content to take small jobs from friends and those who approach me via my free hair bow instructions site.

One of my friends is having a huge Sweet Sixteen party for her daughter and she hired me to design her party invitations. This is the kind of job I love, because it employs fun concepts and a softer touch. Don’t; get me wrong, I also love my corporate work, but party designs are almost like a bit of entertainment. The time flies and I end up only billing for a art of my labor, because in actuality I have spend much of the time just enjoying myself and mocking up several designs I will not even submit.
