Jericho Cancelled Again
I watched Jericho when it first came on last season. It was compelling, but it quickly turned convoluted and difficult to watch. When the show was cancelled, I was not terribly surprised.
Fans campaigned, though, and the network picked up the show for a second season. I thought perhaps with a new push of enthusiasm, it might get a much-needed injection of interesting plot twists. Sadly, the new episodes all felt as awkwardly contrived as last season.
And so, Jericho has been cancelled yet again. The last episode will air Tuesday, March 26. I might even watch – just to say I did.
I was genuinely saddened when Journeyman was cancelled early this season. Now, there was a smart, provocative show. It’s funny what audiences will actually watch on a long-term basis. Smut-fests like Two and a Half Men do well and even go on into syndication, while a brainy, classy show like Journeyman dies an early death.
There is just no accounting for taste.

I really enjoyed JourneyMan. It was well written and all of the plots were great. It’s so disappointing to know it’s not returning.
