Sweater Weather in Florida
We don’t have it often here in Florida: sweater weather. In fact, this winter has been milder than most. Although we have had our share of cold days and nights, they rarely come in blocks of more than a couple of days. I never even stopped wearing sandals this winter.
So, it’s encouraging that here in March, a time when a lot of Florida women are actually packing their bridal lingerie and expecting to enjoy warm weather for their weddings, we are planning for a few days of genuine sweater wearing weather. Here in the Bay Area, we are going to see some overnight temps in the upper 30s and low 40s. In fact, pockets of Citrus County might see some frost.
I’m someone who misses the northern weather of my childhood, so as much as I adore Florida, this is a nice break.
