In an era when it seems like every single celebrity has a sex tape floating around, now we can add Jimi Hendrix to the list. Well, allegedly.

Some of the sex tapes are met with enthusiasm by the public, like the ones starring Kim Kardahsian or Pamela Anderson. Some can barely sell a dozen copies, even when the “star” hoofs it to every imaginable convention promoting the tape, like Dustin Diamond (ew).

And then, there are the ones that will probably sell on sheer “gawk” factor alone. That would quite solidly be a tape that happened to star Hendrix and two groupies.

Vivid Entertainment is releasing a tape said to star Hendrix. They say they got the video, which was shot about 40 years ago, from a memorabilia collector. The video (it sells for $39.95) is 45-minutes long, but only 11-minutes of that is the actual “sex tape”. You only see the face of the man reported to be Hendrix for few seconds. The rest is fluff, so to speak. I’ve seen clips floating around, but I know if I bother to post a link it will just go dead within hours. Nonetheless, you can find clips online with a little light search engine work.
