A Doctor’s Office I’ll Never Use
Thank goodness I don’t deal with the medical office that mistook a dead opossum for a dead baby yesterday. Seriously, that is one group of medical “professionals” I want nowhere near my body.
It all started in New Port Richey, Friday when people working at a doctor’s office smelled something bad. Upon further investigation, they realized the odor was coming from a bag outside. They looked in the bag and saw what they took to be a dead baby. So, they called for help.
Pasco Fire Rescue was called to the scene and agreed that it was a dead baby.
So, then about 15 deputies from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrived. The Sheriff’s Office even released a media release about the dead baby.
Except, in the end it turned out that the dead thing in the bad wasn’t a baby at all, but a dead opossum. Maybe someone just needed a new pair of eyeglasses.
